Meet Our Team

I’ve worked in various industries from warehouse work to aircraft manufacturing to then working in a gym as a manager covering all departments but most enjoyed helping others to improve their fitness as this is one thing I do in my spare time. Also I enjoy fishing mainly in the UK but have the odd trip abroad. I also enjoy spending time with the family.

Looking forward to meeting you on that all important moving day and to make the day a little less stressful just remember one thing remember to put that kettle on when I arrive.

My background is as a Military Engineer for 7.5 years serving with 22 Regiment from Jan 2008 until November 2015. I served in Afghanistan in a bomb search team in 2010 and 2011.

Once I left the Military I became a Construction Project Manager working on various projects including Liverpool Football Clubs new stand. I have brought my business management skills and military precision together with Paul’s customer service background to create what is now Sharp Removals Limited.

The company started as a man and van business and has now grown into the successful, professional company which it is today. My day to day role in the company is management, accounting and also pricing but when required I do role my sleeves up and get involved in the heavy side of the work – being an Army powerlifter this comes as second nature.

I am one of the drivers and porters, I have known Carl for quite a few years weightlifting training with him. Sharp removals have become part of my extended family and I will look forward to seeing you on your move day. PS If you see Ian please remember to add a short joke as this will amuse all of us.

My name is Lauren, and I am Carl’s better half. I am responsible for managing quotes and arranging removal days, as well as customer service. I am here to help you plan your day and make sure your move runs as smoothly as possible. 

Like Carl, I am an avid weight lifter and sometimes fish when time permits. Hopefully, we’ll be able to speak soon.

I was happily retired, but that now seems a distant memory. I’m out moving several days a week, but my speciality is furniture, from simple beds to those tricky IKEA days. This includes beds and wardrobes, from disassembling to reassembling them in your upcoming home. 

When Paul allows me to run, I love running anything from 5k runs to ultra marathons. I’m also an avid fisherman.

Maybe I’ll see you on that all-important moving day, so we can give you and everyone else a stress-free day.

I enjoy the outdoor life walking my dog and I also enjoy fishing, like Paul Gordon and Carl. I’m a family man. I have 4 children so I enjoy days out and family holidays which are really important to me. I really enjoy my football, I’m a big Manchester City supporter. Now that’s enough about me…. myself and the whole team at Sharp Removals are here to help you along the way, on that all important move day with as little stress as possible.

I enjoy helping people on their ‘moving day’ on what is often described as one of the most stressful events in life – making it as easy as possible for people moving to their new homes. 

I’m married and have four adult children.

When I’m not helping move people to their new homes, I enjoy playing golf and cycling even though the removals work helps keep me fit. I don’t do powerlifting or run ultra-marathons 😂

The whole team are kind and friendly and definitely a great bunch to work with.

I am a family man and me and my amazing Fiancèe have 7 children between us and 4 grandchildren, all of which are amazing.

I have a busy life and always like to be doing something, I always get stuck in when there is work to do, no matter how hard.

My favourite hobbies are tinkering with cars and doing any work needed on them myself.

I love meeting and helping people and to hopefully make moving day as easy and stress free as possible.

So, I look forward to meeting you when your all important moving day arrives.

I also enjoy fishing, classic cars, and video games on my PS5. I love to spend time with the family on home improvements, on holidays, and at the allotment.
